Simmered zucchini with miso

Hello! I am happy to see you again. I will update this blog once a week.

Japanese like fish cooked with miso.Miso is a fermented food, it is good for your health.It is a delicious dish vegetable cooked with miso.
Today's recipe is simmered zucchini with miso.


ingredients for 1 person

4 oz zucchini
1 tbsp miso
1 tbsp mirin(or maple syrup)
3 tbsp sake
1 red pepper

Cut zucchini into bite-size.

Place the zucchini in a pot,and add miso,mirin,sake and red pepper.Bring to a boil over medium heat,then turn the heat down and simmer for about 8 minutes,until the zucchini is cooked.

This dish is complete.This is a very simple dish.Zucchini is very soft as melting.Please try!

Barbecue Eggplant

Hello! I am happy to see you again. I will update this blog once a week.

Do you like Korean barbecue? This dish is usually made ​​from beef, I used eggplant instead of beef.It is also delicious eggplant barbecue.And this dish is very healthy!



ingredients for 1 person

1 eggplant
Sesame oil

(for the barbecue sauce)
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp mirin(or maple syrup)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped ginger

Slice the eggplant.

Make barbecue sauce.Mix soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic and ginger.

Heat the sesame oil in a saucepan,and saute the eggplant.

Add the barbecue sauce,and stir until well mixed.

This dish is complete.This dish is delicious.You can also put this dish over rice!

Ma po eggplant(Spicy Eggplant)

Hello! I am happy to see you again. I will update this blog once a week.
In summer,we want eat spicy dish.For example,Indian Cuisine,Korean Cuisine,Chinese Cuisine……。Today I will introduce a Chinese-style spicy dish.

Do you like "Ma po dou fu(Spicy Tofu)"? In this dish, you may also use tofu instead of eggplant.And I use tofu instead of meat.So I'll introduce how to make this dish.


ingredients for 1 person

1 eggplant
3oz tofu
1/2inch cube fresh ginger
1oz leeks
1 dried shitake(or 2 fresh mushroom)
2tsp soy sauce
1tbsp sake
1/2 tsp Chinese red chili paste
200cc Water
Sesami oil

Cut eggplant into bite-size.Chop the leek and ginger dried shitake(or mushroom).

Heat the sesame oil in a saucepan,and saute the tofu until there is no moisture.Retrieve the tofu.

Heat the sesame oil in a saucepan again,and saute the leek and ginger.

Add the eggplant,and stir 2-3minutes.

Add dried shitake(or mushroom),warted,soy sauce and sake.

Add tofu,and simmer for 3-4minutes.

This dish is now compate.Please try!

A very simple tomato sauce

Summer has come.It is hot today. How is your hometown?

Well, let me introduce today's cuisine.Today's recipe is a tomato sauce.
This is the source of spaghetti, and I also served this sauce on couscous.You can also use it to saute fish or tofu.This is a very useful source.And how to cook this source is very simple!



ingredients for 2 person(about 400ml)

300ml tomato juice
1 grated onion
20 pieces chopped basil
1/2tsp salt
1 / 2 tbsp olive oil

Add all ingredients to pot.Bring to a boil medium heat.Simmer for 4-5minut.

fried tomato

Hello! I am happy to see you again. I will update this blog once a week.
It's so hot the last few days in Tokyo.

Well, let me introduce today's cuisine.Today's recipe is a fried tomato.Fry tomatoes are juicy and fresh!
This is my favorite dish.


ingredients for 1 person

1/2 tomato
1/4 tsp salt
2tbsp flour
1 1/2 tbc water
Bread crumbs
Olive oil

Cut the tomato,and sprinkle salt on the tomatoes.

Mix flour and water in a bowl.

Put tomatoes in a bowl and mix.

Coat with bread crumbs around the tomatoes.

In a wok,heat the olive oil,and deep-fry until crisp and golden brown.Drain on kitchen paper.

Well,ready to serve fried tomatoes.Please eat this dish piping hot!
